Contextual analysis is the method of examining a subject — such as a text, artwork, behaviour, or business — within its surrounding environment rather than in isolation. It interprets meaning by considering historical, cultural, social, and situational factors that shaped the subject, providing a deeper understanding of its purpose, intent, and significance
